Clean, smart and affordable energy is the key to the future
Encouraging the spread of clean energy is only possible through active participation of civil society, industrial stakeholders, regional and local authorities, organizations, as well as professional associations.
The Hungarian Electrotechnical Association through active participation provides a neutral platform for legal entities and natural persons working in the electric power industry, as well as for government authorities to coordinate and exchange information about important issues.
It is an important objective of the Association to motivate the actors by using a complex approach in order to work on solutions and to have fruitful debates about them.
In the light of the above, the 67th Annual (Electrotechnical) Conference and Exhibition will be held in Szeged, Hungary.

This Annual Conference and Exhibition held at different Hungarian locations for decades is a festival of the electrical power industry whose surge in popularity is visible by the continuously growing number of participants reaching 800 people by now.
What will the power network infrastructure look like in the future taking into consideration the new National Energy Strategy 2030? What kind of challenges does the sector have to face with the rapidly growing power needs of the population, as well as the weather-dependent power generation? What kind of contributions will digitalization add to the power sector? What has to be changed in the field of education? How can the population be more informed and energy-conscious?
It is these and many more other questions that the 67th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association is seeking answers to! The main sponsor of this year’s Conference and Exhibition is the Nemzeti Közművek (National Utility Co.). The Conference also provides an excellent opportunity to have an open exchange of views and consultations among professionals of the electrical power industry.
